MCX50BAT features a rechargeable built-in battery for outdoor and indoor use with which the LED lamp for the illumination system is powered by. It can be used outdoors where AC power is not available or indoors when it is inconvenient to have a power cord in the way.
Battery capacity: 2200 mA, charging time 5-6 hours
When the battery is fully charged work without the need of a power source nearby is possible for many hours.
The microscope can be used while battery is being recharged.
